April
We have a lot to celebrate for our first market of the year! Our first shindig back in the Boathouse will be an Easter Sunday Egg-stravaganza! A Sunday holiday is the perfect time to bring the whole family to Washington Park, and we’re gonna make your day extra special with cornhole, an Easter egg hunt, swan paddle boats, tacos, lemonade, and much more! April 20 is also really close to Earth Day (4/22), and you know how important sustainability is to us and our vendors. At Market in the Park-et, you can find all kinds of cool stuff without hurting the planet and lining Jeff Bezos’ pockets. So come celebrate the start of a whole new year of shopping sustainably with us!
May
We’re back in the Washington Park Boathouse on May 18! Want to see what new treasures our vendors have uncovered? Or maybe you’re like me and you’ve been craving a Flamingos Tacos breakfast burrito ever since the April show! Come back and see your favorite vendors (and meet some new ones, including a secret special guest!) and have another amazing day in the park.
June
You know that in Denver, Pride Month is a time for deep joy and celebration. And Market in the Park-et is no exception. In June we’ll have the spotlight on our wonderful LGBTQIA+ vendors and the special creativity and curation they bring to the table that makes the market so great. Just like our public parks, everyone is welcome at the market, and we invite you to celebrate that with us on June 29!
July
The heat is on! July is when we start seeing park patrons start to get their morning run in an hour or so earlier, and I’m sure you’ll agree: the Boathouse’s shady roof and cool concrete look awfully attractive in that simmering summer sun. At our July 27 market, we’ll have refreshing gourmet lemonade, cold brew coffee, and ice cold water to help you beat the heat. Not to mention tons of local vendors, all with shady tents, that you can shop!
August
This party just doesn’t stop! We’re back doin’ our thing in the Boathouse August 31, and that’s around the time of year that the weather in the park is absolutely perfect. We’ll have another super secret special guest amongst our 50+ vendors, a special “find-the-swans” giveaway, and a fresh playlist to match the fresh outfit and fresh Aguas Frescas you just copped! What could be better than an August day in the park?
September
September is our super special second anniversary show! In September 2023 we humbly set foot inside the Boathouse to see what would happen, and as soon as we did, we knew we were onto something. Now, in 2025, we’ll be trying out this thing in a whole new location: The City Park Pavilion! That’s right, the same place that our fair city hosts City Park Jazz will welcome as many local small businesses as we can fit in and around the place! We’re talking food trucks, fashion trucks, live music, DJs…and maybe a bouncy house?! If we can dream it up, it’ll be there on September 21. So make sure you’re there too, because it’s not a party without you!
October
Just like last year, we’re ending our season with a spook-tacular bang! Halloween is a vintage lover’s dream, and our vendors bring out the finest one-of-a-kind garments that they’ve been saving all year for your dream costume. Not to mention thousands of other special pieces that you can enjoy all year round. Want to get your Christmas gift shopping done wayyy early? Our 50+ vendors have you absolutely covered. Halloween is easily our favorite holiday and it would be a true horror to miss what we’re cooking up. Come get those last few perfect moments in the park on October 19, before the weather starts to turn and we say goodbye to MitP in 2025!
